As the Mothership continues to be held in Drydock with no change to her condition, the crew, including First Mate Kirby & Gramma D, scramble to find new distractions in the bland Homestead Station. Shore leave has been granted, but the few nearby excursions have been thoroughly explored already. Captain Ellen has been actively trying to find entertainment – usually ice cream – anything to keep from getting too preoccupied with the impending launch of the SS BTB.
Today, a visit to Stephanie’s and “restocking the Mess” at Wholefoods provided much needed distractions. First Mate Kirby has been working from home in anticipation of the big event, but has orders to report to the office tomorrow if there is no change in the Mothership’s condition.
Inspection continues tomorrow by the midwife, to determine if any further action is necessary before “undocking” will commence. We all look forward to word of our launch from Internal Command.
